When it comes to selling your personal home or your investment property there are some tips that take it from being just a house to being a potential new home for a new buyer. Weather the home is a year old or thirty years old each home has its unique traits that can either make or break a sale. We have, over many years, figured out some great Do’s and Don’ts when selling your home. Here are just a few:

  1. DO get professional cleaning done inside and hire a staging company before any photos are taken.

  2. DO make sure all your landscaping is looking picture perfect and you might even need a little refresh. Curb appeal is EVERYTHING!

  3. DO get professional photos done of your home and neighborhood to showcase the full potential.

  4. DON’T leave the house a mess during showings. You don’t want potential buyers eyes to see only the mess and miss out on the home its self.

  5. DON’T put a ton of money into a complete remodel if you won’t see the value at the end. Only do what will bring more value to your home. Keep it simple and allow the potential buyers to see what they could bring the house.
